Yoga Classes
Hot
Vinyasa Flow- This is an invigorating
and challenging class set in a hot room surely meant to
help you detox and sweat it out! Thomas or Claudia will
guide you through a yoga series and then allow you to flow
at your own pace. It is set to upbeat and more rhythmic
music. This class is great for those that are more physically
active and like to be taken to their edge.
SlowBurn Vinyasa
Flow- This is a slower paced class connecting
each breath with movement that is meant to explore each yoga
pose by feeling it rather than just doing it. The invitation
will always be there for one to take their awareness within
by closing their eyes. It truly is a calming and therapeutic
experience. This class welcomes all yoga practioners.

“The only journey, is the journey within”….
When you yoga at Del Sol, you’ll find tried and
true methods for bringing a high level of resilience to your
body. You will learn creative methods to loosen those hips,
shoulders and hammies that plague you after that long day at
work or after the long run, ride, or swim. And as for the all
important core, connect it like never before and find the true
meaning of physical and mental strength, resilience, and stamina,
necessary to keep you moving long after you have hit the, “wall”.
Challenge yourself with something new and be pleasantly and
thankfully surprised.
Claudia Castro-Leverett has been sharing her
love of yoga for the past nine years and has been practicing
intently for the past 15 years.
She received her yoga certification from Yoga Yoga in Austin
TX, at first only to find more depth in her own practice. Claudia
then began her Advanced Training with Brigitte Snyder and Murti
from Healing in Yoga.
She has continued her adult yoga training with master teachers
like Jonny Kest, Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Rusty Wells, and
Aadil Palkhivala. Currently she is participating in a Living
Yoga Sadhana/Medatition training with Shiva Rea. In the summer
of 2011, her and Thomas both completed 200 hours
at Center
for Yoga with Master Yoga Teacher and Healer,
Jonny Kest in Michigan.
When Claudia and Thomas first
met Jonny, they knew he was their teacher. His personality
and style of Hot Vinyasa created such an energizing, validating,
detoxifiying, and liberating experience that they wanted
to be a part of helping spread it’s benefits to any and all.
His style, not only detoxified the body and mind with breath
control and challenging movements, but with intensity both
inner and outer, and with an overall effect of totally balancing
the body. After leaving one of his classes and having spent
every ounce of sweat and will on the mat, Thomas recalls noticing
a smile he could not take off his face. It was in that moment
of clarity that he realized the natural state of human kind
is indeed overwhelming happiness, and that through regular
practice of Yoga, one can reach these emotional states so missing
from the world today. This practice truly calls on the student
to “check in”, not “check out”.
Claudia has received her Children's Yoga certification
after completing the Radiant Child Children's Yoga Program
with the amazing Shakta Kaur Khalsa, Next Generation Yoga
with the brilliant Jodi Komitor, and Angel Bear Yoga with
the lovely Christi Eley. She is Yoga Alliance Certified in
both Adult Hatha/Vinyasa Flow style and Children's Yoga.
Besides teaching at their studio, Del Sol, Claudia teaches yoga for health care professionals during their lunch hours, for her daughter's Montessori school, for Kids Camps, for birthday parties and for private group events.
One of her favorite quotes today is the "let the love
that you are, be what you do!".......Rumi
For many, her classes are the starting
point for a connected and thoughtful day. For others, they are an opportunity to nurture and give back to themselves for a hard week gone by. And for still others, a place of community where like minded individuals come together to walk the path of yoga, or “Union” with the Absolute. Her personal practice is one of Bhakti or yoga of love and devotion which then also infuses her poetic teaching style.

Claudia and Thomas offer private yoga sessions
to help with body alignment and offer that one on one support
in order to be injury free during a quick paced Hot Vinyasa class.
She will also work with any body challenges you may be dealing with.
